Experience Boarding
A trail of discovery for your child, while you meet parents of current boarders.
At the Experience Boarding Pavilion you will have the chance to speak with current parents and house staff from the UK's top prep and senior boarding schools.
At the same time your children will be taken around the Experience Boarding trail by recent boarders to experience boarding style activities such as climbing, outdoor skills, drama and golf.
Each session lasts one hour and will take place at:
- 11:00, 12:30 & 14:00 on Saturday
- 12:00 & 13:30 on Sunday.
There is no better way for parents and children to find out more about boarding.
Places for each timeslot are very limited so please book in advance - selecting the 'Experience Boarding' ticket.

The Parents Reception is a unique opportunity to speak 1-1 with current parents, house-staff and heads.

Experience Boarding gives children a taste of boarding school adventures, and the chance to speak about boarding with recent leavers
On the trail for 2023:
- Camp Bonas:
- Campfire activities, wigwam, fire & marshmallows
- Drama Corner - Dressing up box with 'freeze-frame' photo booth
- 270 Climbing:
- Rock Climbing Wall - 5.5 metres high
- Caving Experience - Over 30 metres of tunnels & chambers
- Sharky & George:Teamwork Skills
