St George's, Ascot

St George's School is an independent boarding and day school for girls aged 11-18 years based in Ascot, approximately 40 minutes from Central London and 12 miles from Heathrow Airport. Located on a 30-acre stunning green site, down a private road, Ascot High Street is just a short walk from the school. 

The school is well equipped with excellent facilities including, a stunning new  25m six-lane indoor swimming pool, a newly developed cookery room, a purpose-built library, state-of-the-art 300-seat theatre, eight tennis courts, six floodlit netball courts, three lacrosse pitches and much more. 

St George’s is intentionally small, ensuring that all girls are truly known and are quickly bedded into a close-knit community. Yet, there is an impressive breadth and depth to the academic and co-curricular provision to challenge the girls to reach their potential and explore new ideas and interests.

St George's has an excellent academic record at A Level and GCSE which is also supported by the high levels of value-added achieved. In 2020,  93% percent of leavers achieved their first or insurance choice of university place and there has been an impressive rise in successful Oxbridge applications in recent years. 2020 was a very successful year for St George's and girls achieved a strong set of results in a diverse range of subjects. 100% of girls gained 9-4 in GCSE with 70% gaining 9-7. At A Level, there was a 99% pass rate with 69% of girls gaining A*/A grades.
